4" rear drop - shock questions

I'm going to be purchasing some classic performance 4" drop springs for my '70 C/10.

I have a couple questions:

1) What size shocks should I purchase? Not looking to break the bank here, but want some decent shocks. Any suggestions are appreciated.

2) Do I need shock relocation mounts with the 4" drop?

Thanks for the help.

Re: 4" rear drop - shock questions

I would do the shock relocators and the adjustable track bar. I prefer the longer track bars as they lower the roll center and improve the handling. I have run several sets of shocks and right now running the Belltech street performance shocks and really like them.

Re: 4" rear drop - shock questions

So with the relocators, I'm just running the stock sized shocks, correct?

Re: 4" rear drop - shock questions

No you run a shorter drop shock. What the relocators do is correct the shock angle so the shocks work like they should.
