Re: Would you make this trade - poll
Looked at the car in person. It has some rust on the lower rear window trim, the trunk, and its bubbling around the wheel well on the rear quarter panel. There is bondo behind the rear bumper so I'm guess it was hit at some point. The 283 has more get up speed than I excepted. Interior is in ok condition. The owner liked my truck and is willing to trade straight across for it. I like the Malibu body style a lot but overall I like my truck more. I told him I will sleep on it and get back to him in the morning. Thank you all for the feedback.

"The short bed is from my home town so it has more sentimental value."
Think you answered your own question, my opinion keep the truck. |

Re: Would you make this trade - poll
If I did what everybody else wanted me to do, or their opinion, I would not have a older truck to begin with.
This is not directed at anyone here, we are a very unique part of America that remembers our Heritage. |

Re: Would you make this trade - poll
Personally, I wouldn't trade.... rust or no rust. SWB trucks in this era are hard to come by. I also believe the 66-67 Chevelle's seem to bring higher dollars than 64-65's. (Just my observations)

How bout just selling the long bed, put some cash together, and go buy the chevelle cash in hand. Might come out better AND you get to keep the shorty.
