1/2 same as 3/4?

Ok I couldn't find my thread on here so posting a new one sorry. I'm going to do a front end swap on my 62' c10 and my understanding is that anything from 73-87' can work with some small tweaks. I've looking and found some people parting out there trucks. My question is the one that I'm looking at is a 87' Silverado 3/4 6lug. It being a 3/4 does that mean it won't work with my 62'. Does my swap have to be from a 1/2 or are they the same.

If you want it to be a C10, then you will need C10 components. Take a look at this sticky for details. "Drum to Disc" conversions 60-70

Re: 1/2 same as 3/4?

Wasn't '62 a torsion bar suspension? My '62 Suburban was.

I assume the frame is quite a bit different than a coil spring crossmember frame.

OK, I checked the sticky above.
