that rivet on the VIN-plate looks as original as I've seen. I'd look behind the jamb to see if it was sectioned in, otherwise cab is correct for what it is. The question is, does it match the frame. Anyone can check the numbers on the frame against the other locations.
My biggest concern with that truck would be the extent of rust. Was it patched, painted, and now showing again or is that "original rust"? It appears to have been exposed to salt air a bit, just by the rust seeping above VIN-plate, that paint popped off the hood, and patched or replaced tailgate. I've seen trucks from the California coast rust worse than the average truck in my area where salted roads rusts everything
