Accelerator/gas pedal and cable question?
I'm finishing up my 55 GMC build with 5.3 LS in it. What did you guys use for a decent budget minded pedal and how long was the cable you ordered? One last question is where did you mount the brake switch?

Re: Accelerator/gas pedal and cable question?
What brake pedal are you using firewall or below floor mounted brake assembly ?. With LS motor a Lokar style pedal seems to be easier to attach to your needs, they are available on egay clones from china if your worried about price

Re: Accelerator/gas pedal and cable question?
I called lokar and asked about the best pedal for an AD truck. Guy said my best bet is an eliminator so that's what I went with. They also sell cables and brackets for ls motors. I think the 55 second series truck might have a retrofit kit from lokar but not sure. I'm as cheap as anybody but these are only 120 and not worth saving $$ on Chinese junk. Especially with a component this critical.

Re: Accelerator/gas pedal and cable question?
Lokar advises to order the 48" cable for the LS engine. http://www.lokar.com/product-pgs/thr...or-pedals.html

Re: Accelerator/gas pedal and cable question?
With the 36" is that the outer sleeve and the inner cable can be cut to let's say 44"?
