Just pulled this off a 66 C60 that had a 350 in it. Carb is dirty outside but pretty clean inside. Truck sat for many years so I would say clean and rebuild. Listing here as it looks like it is stamped 1970. I dont know much about them so look at the pics. I included one of the numbers stamped. $50 plus shipping

A little more info to help your sale. This carb fits 1971 350 and 402 CI engines used with automatic transmission.

According to the numbers on the side of carb, 7041202, it's for a 270hp 350 w/ automatic trans in a chevelle, camaro, nova, monte carlo, el camino and passenger car. I don't see a listing for a big block with this number. Hope this helps.

The "1970" is the date code. The "197" is the 197th day of the year and the "0" represents the year which is 1970. I would take it IF it was a 7041210. Tom

I have two others but will have to check the codes when I can get to them. One is still on the 350/350 combo I pulled from an original 71 GMC C10 that i drove home the other is out of a 69' GMC that I know was not the original motor. I will get pics of the numbers in the next day or so

Thanks Richard, the 7041211 is a 71 off a 350 4sp truck. I believe with further research that I'm looking for a 7041208. On the second carb I'm not sure. The number doesn't make sense to me. Maybe a service carb? Thanks, Tom

this is the engine that that carb is on. I was 3rd owner of the truck and it was always an automatic. transmission is still attached to the engine. What would be the difference in the carbs? I assume just a kick down linkage on side of carb? It was definitely never on a 4 speed setup.

The carb with the stranger numbers however did have a manual transmission

Richard, Now as I understand the 7041211 was on the manual shift trucks and the 7041208 was on the trucks with automatics. This is just my understanding from others. I can tell you that I have two 71 trucks with auto's that have the 7041208 and one 71 truck with a 4sp that has the 7041211. As far as the difference I don't know of any. Both except the kick down for the TH350. Thanks, Tom
