I've said from the beginning I would use a PCV tube. I don't use the post office to ship fragile items.

I have had both ,wide and narrow bands shipped to me with no problems. Both sent in cardboard boxes. Guess I'm lucky .

I shipped my last two narrow bands in cardboard with the hard, wood like 90 degree cardboard pieces on each side and both arrived safely. I have shipped a lot of these and never had a problem. I have also been selling online for over 12 years so have it figured out pretty good. The fact is, if a shipping company wants to beat the crap out of something, they can destroy anything, no matter how carefully it is packed.
