i found a '67 1/2 ton 2wd short step for 300.00. all of the body parts have rust holes. it has a 350 with 3 speed. it does run and drive. everything is there. is it worth it or should i keep looking.
this will be a parts truck only.

For 300 bucks you can trade that 350 block and tranny in for a core and get a good crate motor and tranny. + Whatever useable parts are in the inside.

I'd say is worthy, I paid $300 for a truck that didn't run at all and had been parked for a few years, but that included a whole bunch of parts including a spankin' new oak wood bed kit

Where abouts are you in PA? I'm looking for some trashed stepside fenders for patch panles for mine, if you buy that truck and decide to aprt out with those give me a holler.

$300 for a truck of almost any condition is a deal..
Have you looked at what they want for a new one these days?
$300 isn't that much for what you describe, unless someone had a 305 in it..You'd have to pay me $300 to take it away..
And if thine rust offendeth thee, cut it out.
You should see the wreck that I'm working on..Up North here, what you guys call rust, we call dirty paint..

Where exactly are you from east of Altoona? I am in the State College / Bellefonte area. Did you get the truck?

Between the drive train and the rolling chassis, you'd get your money out of her....
