Stripped stud on p/s pump. Fix or buy new?

A squeaky belt led me to look at the power steering pump and adjust it. Welp, upon tightening the belt and tightening the nut, I realized the nut kept turning and turning. Is this stud removable/replaceable or do I need to buy a new one from the auto parts store? Pic below. Its the stud/nut behind the pump, near the header.

Well that stud ( bolt ) goes in the head if it striped, it the head your going to have to fix. Or buy new used, new head. If bolt striped get a new bolt or (stud fit) use blue thread locker on bolt that should hold it. and it looks like they used small pipe as a spacer on the bolt for the bracket press on the bracket to get the right spacing. (header are not as wide as stock ex.-Manifolds ). that what you have to do to make it work with headers.

Those two mounting studs are able to be removed from the pump casing. The hex shaped flange will accept a socket/wrench and the short end of the stud will unscrew from it's tapped boss in the casing. A pump with, and without, the mounting bolts installed:

The pump is cast iron and if that hole is stripped, I'd get a rebuilt pump. I've found that often the pump on the vehicle isn't what came with it, so the new pump may not quite fit.
As you can see in the pic above, the return on the can is different.
You can buy bare pumps w/o the can for half the price of the one w/ the can. The pumps are all the same.

On a separate note, the pipe used as a spacer is ~2x longer than normal. It should be ~1".

Thanks for pointing that out. It's hard for me to know what things are suppose to look like, since it seems like everything has been tampered with/modified.

Anyways, I got a new stud in there, it's fixed. Thanks all.
