Performance online (POL) backorder issues.
EDIT: As of 2-16-16 The issue has been resolved with a %10 refund, but still have to wait 7-10 more days till it ships, then the shipping days. So about a month to get the parts.
Long story short. I ordered a basic 6 lug front disk conversion for my 69 C10 on 02-01-16. When ordering it said regular 4-6 days shipping via ground, ok cool. After a week or so of not hearing back, they state that it won't be shipped till next week. I then said I would like a refund as that's not what was advertised, of course they want to charge me a fee to refund me. Now they responded on 02-12-16 saying it's backordered for another 2 weeks, and now all email responses have stopped. At this point all I want is my money back so I can use a vendor that actually cares about customer service and not just about taking my money. I trusted this company solely because they are a vendor on here. Last edited by ranger2339; 02-16-2016 at 04:47 PM. |

Re: Performance online (POL) Terrible service.
Probably because the container ship from China is delayed. Try googling TSM Manufacturing. They are US sourced and offer a lot of disc brake conversions-I've dealt with Skip on the phone several times-great guy and nice parts! They are located in Castle Rock, Colorado.

Re: Performance online (POL) Terrible service.
Its best to call them. I have an old catalog of theirs from 2005 and it has a pretty extensive breakdown of kits. They supply SSBC, Master Quality Brake kits and a few others you typically see in publications a at least as far as stock type components go. I first used their rear kit on a 79 Monte I had which allowed me to use front calipers/hoses on the rear sans an ebrake cable since I had an automatic at the time. They have an exclusive supplier which builds NEW Caddy style rear calipers which is the common ebrake option for their kits. I remember talking to Skip about front drum-disc conversions.
