My AC guy back in Carolina said that he fit a Astro Van into the box with no mods. I didn't get to see it, but I have the part number for the accumulator that fit it. See post 22.

i used a 78-86 chevy truck evaporator, i just had build a piece to go behind the back of it, because it's about 2-3 inches shorter than the factory evaporator.

the only thing that may need to removed or bent is the bracket on the housing. it can get in the way of the accumulator.
