No Power - Truck Wont Start??

So I drove my truck home and parked it. Shut it off. Came back outside and tried to start it and nothing. My compressors for my airbags usually turn on when i turn the the key in the start position before i crank it and they are not on either. I changed the terminals and ground wire to the battery. Charged the battery up. No juice. fuses look good. Any thoughts.

You probably have a bad connection at the firewall junction block. It's next to your master cylinder above the inner fender.

Re: No Power - Truck Wont Start??

I went out there with a flash light. i checked the box. everything looks good. My compressor acc wire is run from the battery into the cab to the fuse box ignition. So I would atlas hear my compressors go on. Could it be my ignition

Do the headlights come on? That would be a quick check of battery and point to ignition switch as a possibility. You might have an inline fuse in there too.

Re: No Power - Truck Wont Start??

Check to see if you have battery power, then over the the terminal bus bar at the horn.

Sometimes its under the hood by the headlight, or under the dash above the fuse panel on the horn relay. That is a free 50 buck guess from outta the blue.

Dont ask me how I know...

Re: No Power - Truck Wont Start??

Typical no brainer tests are does the horn make noise and do the headlights work.
You need a voltmeter.
Step 1 is measure battery voltage.
How things look is meaningless.

Talking Re: No Power - Truck Wont Start??

The wire from the junction block (fusible link)feeds power to the fuse block, if it's broken/burned might be the culprit.

It'll start this morning and we'll never hear from him again until heat soak brings him back next time to reveal the purple ignition wire of death has a bad connection....
