Re: Initial break in start accomplished, need help though

Most break in periods are for the cam & lifters. The purpose is to heat everything up and get it broke into each other. I would run the engine the full recommended time in a single shot and call it good.

Why did the belt break? Old or is there another issue?

Pulley alignment. Looks like I need alternator shims
