Before and After ... your kids and your truck

Ive been going back quite a ways in the threads lately looking for ideas. There are tons of pics of your kids with your trucks in some pretty old threads. Id love to see pics of your kids with your truck from back then and now.

I have pics of my kids with my first 67-72 truck somewhere, and I have pics of my grand daughter next to the truck somewhere lol. But it is no longer my truck so no now pictures lol

I was looking at some ten year old threads and I know some of those trucks are still in the family. Little bitty kids helping out back then =)

Re: Before and After ... your kids and your truck

I have one with my son on his bike in front of a '55 I had at, I believe, the firt truck show at Carlisle, PA when it was the Chevy/GMC Truckin' Nationals sponsored by Golden State. I'll have to scan it. I have one that he took from in the '71 Custom Camper going down I-70 of me riding in the next lane on my Harley. I somehow screwed it up resizing and now it's really small, I'll have to find it in P-bucket. Here is one about 10 years ago (14 y.o.) of him helping me move a truck around. I'll have to get one of him now in the '72 GMC, one in the camper earlier, and even earlier in my dad's car. I know it's not my truck, but I came across it and think it's cool for before and after anyway

Re: Before and After ... your kids and your truck

Here's one of my son on our way home from buying Ole Blu. It was a 400 mile trip that went off without a hitch. Thank God. I would have never heard the last of it from my wife if I needed to tow my new truck home.

Re: Before and After ... your kids and your truck

I don't know what it is, but for some reason I get the impression your son really enjoyed that trip and it will be something that stays with him for life. Great move! If it broke down it would have shown him dad knows what to do no matter what happens. Life ain't perfect and it's not as much about what happens to you as it is what you do when it happens. A good lesson for all to learn. I'm sorry you didn't break down

Re: Before and After ... your kids and your truck

Still, I would of had to hear about how we broke down after paying $10,00.00 for a truck on the drive home for the rest of my life. My son enjoys our truck and helps dad fix things on it all the time. He even has his very own set of tools.

Most recent. Please excuse his attire.. He was inside the house and wanted to come into the garage. It was December, so he had to put on his coat and boots
