Yes. My 74 & 90 are both done that way. On squares, the bed supports just adjacent to the rear shackles sometimes need to be trimmed for clearance depending on what length leafs are in the truck.

I have the same setup on my 84 with the bed supports notched. I do not have a c notch in the frame. I just removed the factory bump stops. It has clearance.

Mine is this way to but I think it is too low. You will need to take out the factory stops.
