15x8 smoothies on the front?

I've looked and found many smoothies on the front but never sure if they were 15x7 or 15x8's. I want to put US Wheel series 51 smoothies on my 56 Task Force but not sure if I should use the 15x8's on the front or go with 15x7's. I currently have 15x7's with 4"BS, and they fit ok...just think they could be a little wider. Any opinions on this or these wheels?

IMO, I would stay with 7's or even 6's. I like the tucked look tho. Might as well throw on some WWW's too.

Ya I think I'm gonna go with the 7's, no wide whites in my budget, I like the Blackwalls anyways.

Re: 15x8 smoothies on the front?

I've got 15 x8's all around with 235 75R 15 tires. They fill the wheel well and clear everything.

I also have 31 10.5R x 15 on 15x7 on the front and they clear everything except the drag link at lock the rears are on 15 x8's with a bit more offset and just clear the fender lips until you put a load in the bed then they rub .

And my Napco has 16 x 7's all around with 265 70R 16's. If the truck was 2 wheel drive I think they would also clear everything.

Re: 15x8 smoothies on the front?

I ordered 15x8's for the rear and 15x7's for the front. Wheel Vintiques Smoothies. I was thinking of painting them red, baby moons and no trim rings, any thoughts on that?

Funny you mentioned red wheels, I just so happen to have 15x 8's on the rear and 15x7's on the front of the chassis I'm building . Wheel Vintiques Artillery with '41 passenger car caps (not pictured).

Oh and the one on the lift has Micky Thompson N50x14 on 11 inch rims.

That will look pretty cool. By the way, I had Mickey Thomson N50's on Cragar 15's back in the day on a 69 GTO. Jacking up the rear end was the style, I used Monroe air shocks but they still rubbed sometimes. Oh, like everybody...I should shoulda kept that old goat lol.
