 . No, seriously, there is no "place" to go buy one. It's like everything else, keep your eyes and ears open and talk to people. You best bet here is post a WTB thread in the parts board. I'm fresh out. Sounds like you need to decide what you want. Someone offers up a shortened one, you say you want an original, then next sentence you ask how good a job one person does shortening? We don't know the one offered wasn't done just as well? I can do a nice job and so can a whole heap of others. Either you want a shortened one or an original. If you're not trying to create the real deal, a shortened frame will be cheaper than original...or it should be. That first one offered is a great deal and ready for your body. I sold an original frame, title, VIN-plate, and glovebox door for more a few years ago

Is the C20 truck frame and the C20 Suburban frame the same? Id like to convert my Suburban to 4X4 some day. If so, I might go take a look at the one in San Francisco.

Ranger i believe the back half of the frame is different between the two,But you could 4x4 swap a 2wd frame.

I have a 72 swb 4x4 frame original not cut down with the factory 1/2 axles closed knuckles with disc brakes on front, with the original np205/465/bellhousing with shifters and all the drive shafts still intact. Its basically a rolling chassis. no motor/body etc..
As soon as I figure out if i want to part it out or sell it as a complete chassis I will post it on the forum. Its gonna be a week or two as i'm traveling a bit next couple weeks. So I won't be on the board till then. I looked for over a year too find one but I think i'm gonna just eventually build a 72 crew cab. definitely don't want to stretch this frame. lol
