Smile Wife and I went for a drive, look what we found

Come across these trucks in a small town, in Oregon, about a hour drive from my place. Lots of parts, and possible project trucks here. These trucks were all in the same town. The one with no front clip is a '72 small block, 4-speed, the G.M.C. auto, I thinking '71. Both of these been sitting so long, tire are rotten, and off the rim! The yellow SWB is a '72, C-10 lots of potential here. '67 sitting behind some one's house.
There were two '70;s and anther '68 in the same town. Also saw a Gold '68 about 3 miles from this town.
Also come across a '72 G.M.C. K-20, for sale in a town 9 miles from me, going to see about that one! 350, auto, didn't look to bad, only $3200.
Enjoy the pictures!

That's funny! Before I left my home state of Oregon for Kentucky, I drove by a few of those trucks several times. Used to drive through there on the way to Dufur for work. Always liked that bronze one! I bet that bronze paint would be beautiful buffed out.

Nice score. Only headache is transporting the goods.

I'll have to charge a "finders fee"!! Only clue I'll give. Or see me at the swap meet, I know you'll be there. I'm in the 9000 area.

Re: Wife and I went for a drive, look what we found

I'm at the Expo center. By the red gate, booth 9272, I vend with a bunch of other guys, go down to the white cost-co tent and ask for me. We usually have about 12 booths back to back, most people there now me. Or ask for Todd, or Nathan, friends of mine.

Mike,
That's great. Seems like they are stacked up like cord wood out there. Those are the best kinds of road trips. Next time you need to take a trailer

I really dig the yellow SWB. Looks like DOT yellow. Maybe an old State Hwy truck?

That 67 is really cool looking. I would have liked to have seen a pic of the gold 68.

I'm not surprised you found these close to home as the Pacific Northwest States of Washington, Oregon and Idaho are what I call the "Truck Rich States." Texas and California are not far behind.

Re: Wife and I went for a drive, look what we found

So far on our road trips, I come across 2 K-10, 2K-20, and at least close to dozen C-10, C-20. All within a hour of my place.
Also know were a'71 SNB K-10 sits, running truck, old guy who owns it, uses it for hauling fire wood! It's in pretty good shape, located far off the beaten path, semi remote area.
