Differences in cab help needed
I'm sure this has been brought up but couldn't find it, what's the difference in a 1956 gmc 1ton cab and a 1955 Chevy 3100 cab? Found a rust free 56 GMC cab to replace my 55 Chevy cab as alot of you know I had to replace alot of patch panels on my 55 and having alot of troubles with stuff lining up. I know the dashes are different but I can switch the catches

Re: Differences in cab help needed
I would just go with it.
Rust free is like money in the bank. I don't think there is much differences except the rods that help hold up the front of the truck that go through the firewall. You can patch those up. but basically, I would take pics of your cab, then run over there and compare the pics on your phone with the cab in front of you.
