Checking door hinge

Re-installed doors using original door hinges with new pins. They are sturdy and work great except for in fully open position doors want to close.
Is there some adjustment or trick that would help doors stay in open position?

Re: Checking door hinge

Friction plates on the hinges are there to prevent that.

Re: Checking door hinge

I haven't tackled this directly as almost everyone of mine could use new ones. Too many more important things at the moment. But when I do I will most likely fiddle with a spare set n replace them one at a time.

Re: Checking door hinge

Would somebody be able to tell me how thick the stop pad is?
It appears to be about 1/8". Hoping for exact measurement.
Thanks.
