Audio system under $400
Recommend me some good Audio systems under $400 for my 07 Chevy. I am not much into base. Clarity is what I want.

Re: Audio system under $400
Pioneer double din and install trim piece. Works great in my truck. I also connected the aftermarket to my steering wheel controls with a kit, that is available and I have XM in my truck. That might push your dollar amount a little.

Re: Audio system under $400
Check my thread here:
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=693050 I've been very pleased with this setup, but will be adding some base when I can. You'll be a little over $400 for this, depending on what options you want to retain. I retained on-star and door chimes/turn signals. I didn't have steering wheel controls to worry about. My adapter from the head unit to the truck wiring cost about $75 if I remember correctly: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_120OSLA...e.html?tp=3486 I also wanted to retain XM Stereo, so I added one of these: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_220SXV3...0V1-Tuner.html FYI, if you retain XM, you can connect that tuner to your factory dolphin fin, and won't have to install the XM antenna that comes with it. Nose around on YouTube if/when that becomes an issue. FIY: I installed the same head unit in my wife's '07 Acadia, and have been please with it in there as well. She's running less expensive speakers, recommended by the installer that did her car. The clarity isn't as good as my truck.
