My dash pad and door panels need to be painted. I'm not doing it, the shop is. Their goof.

Before I let them pick/find the color I'm attempting it. I'm the one that's going to have to live with it!

I know about SEM etc. They want to mix and spray, so I need to find the GM paint code for the saddle interior.

Anyone have it or a good resource?

I greatly appreciate any help. Thanks

The saddle tan vinyl interior code on my 1984 is 62v. No clue if 1974 uses the same color codes.

I have 74 gmc with saddle interior at home. I should be able to get it for you in the next couple days when I make it home. The spid and all is intact. I'll let ya know

My spid reads 674. I was under the a assumption that the 674 was just the option number? Am I incorrect? I hope I am. You know what happens when one assumes! Ha-ha

I'm not sure. You have me thinking now. I have never really looked up interior colours. I remember seeing a list of options on the inside of door panels. You might get a number off the inside of that or a similar interior panel. I'll take a look later. See what I can find

These are the numbers I meant inside door panel. It shows green, sand, saddle, ox,and grey in the far right column and the 3 columns to the left show standard, delux, and Cheyenne With a list under each. I think they are part numbers

If you look at the door inner panel some had the code stamped on the in side back side(some had codes for a few colors on then) try to check it out see it your door inner panels do or not.

(saddle sand) is the color you want. or short SAND

GM interior color codes are hit or miss because the factory is an assembly point for parts made by multiple different vendors. The colors are more coordinated than one color.

If you have a sample of what you want you can get dye matched to the sample color.

The Saddle interior on my 1976 was a fairly dark leather brown color on the dash pad and much lighter sand beige color door panels and other hard plastics with carpet that almost matched the dash pad. The Silverado interior door pockets, headliner, and sun visors are slightly darker than the hard plastic door panels.
Take a look at a SEM or Duplicolor color chart locally... don't do it online.

23825 is the PPG number, if they can mix interior paint. Would have to be an old lacquer based mixing system I think. When PPG went urethane, be it DG, DBC or Global etc, they quit doing interior dye colors.

Seeing your panels yours might be if you use SEM color coat might be closer to Palomino.
But like I said SEM will send you free color sample or they did few YR ago.
