Help 2 Speed Wiper Motor Wiring

Does anyone have a photo of the wiring going to a 2 speed wiper motor for a 66 C10?

The schematics show the wires but not exactly where they are all connected and on what prongs. My switch / wipers do not work and I may have attached the wires in the wrong order at the motor. It does have the washer attached to the motor as well...if that makes a difference?

Re: Help 2 Speed Wiper Motor Wiring

I don't have a photo of a motor showing the wiring, but here is a photo of a motor with all of the terminals labeled:

For '66 the wire colors should be:

-Terminal "(1) High" = Light Blue. This wire should run directly to the switch on the dash.
-Terminal "(2) Power" = Yellow. This wire is fed directly from the "Wiper" fuse and should be live when the ignition is on.
-Terminal "(3) Low" = Black. This wire should also run directly to the switch.
-Terminal "(4) Power" = Yellow. This second power terminal is not present on all motors.

The 2 wires going to the WASHER" terminals will be Yellow and Dark Blue. The yellow wire is the power feed and (depending on the wiper motor) will tie into either terminal #2 or #4. The dark blue wire runs directly back to the switch.

When the switch is turned to the "low" position, it completes the circuit to ground for both the High (lt. blue) and Low (black) wires. When it's turned to the "high" position, only the High (light blue) wire is grounded. And when the washer button is pushed, the switch grounds the dark blue wire.

Re: Help 2 Speed Wiper Motor Wiring

Thanks for the help. Apparently I have the motor hooked up correctly. Must be the switch....I'll track that down next.

Re: Help 2 Speed Wiper Motor Wiring

search the forum, I recently read a couple of threads on this. Basically one terminal is hot all the time, and the other two are grounded through the switch to provide the two speeds.
