i love ebay buyers , they get into a bidding war and dont care what they pay , i just sold a brand new pair of mopar performance cast aluminum 440 valve covers for 175-200 with shipping , they had never been installed , they were bought 2 months ago , a fella up in canada bought them , you can buy them right now at any mopar performance sight or anyone who carrys mopar stuff for 100-119 ,, and they have cheaper shipping , i just dont understand it , i dont think some of those people research what they are buying at all , it took me 2 seconds to find those valve covers for 119 , and he paid 200... crikey some folks are dumb ,,

Most of the black ones are aftermarket.

I have a set of old NOS GM rockers plus a set of new reproduction ones. Big big difference between my two pairs. I'll probably never use them, but I have them if I need them....lol

Does anyone know of a brand or at least a place I can get the rockers
that have the full metal. I have a set that are not complete where the metal turns up to meet the cab kick panel. Maybe that is why GM rockers are more expensive they provide the complete curve all the way to the kick panels.

I would say they're worth it. The factory ones fit way nicer. And besides, wouldn't you rather have something that fit nicer than to have someone try to get it to fit (spending time=money) and come out at the same price if not more? The metal is thicker and they fit like a glove. I had NOS ones when I redid my truck and they were black also.
