What Borgeson U-Joint on 72 Blazer Column?

I am getting parts for a guy with a 72 Blazer and he just did a crossover steering setup and now he wants to ditch the factory Rag joint-steering shaft setup. It looks to be 3/4" 36 on the steering box but I don't have the truck to measure what's up on the column end. Does anyone know? It looks to be the same as the lower by a pic.
Any help is appreciated.

Isn't the flange welded to the double D shaft of the column? I think they make a fitting for the double D.

Yeah, the flange is part of the shaft. i think they are replacing that though. hopefully with a collapsible DD. the box is a 3/4"x36spl. i don't think the end of the column is actually splined. it is clamped and the clamp bolt also locks into a notch. you may have to weld the joint on if they dont offer a clamp on style.

i have been planning this for mine, but i am not anywhere close so i havent sorted out the details.

You could just do what I do and use a steering shaft from a 84 to 96 Jeep Cherokee, it's pretty much a bolt in and the Jeep shaft has a built in vibration dampener. You will have to collapse the shaft a little and on the column end you will have to grind a small notch to clear the different location of the pinch bolt. I pick them up for about 25 bucks fom the salvage yards, I have a 200 dollar Borgenson shaft that I used in my old 1 ton and believe me the Jeep shaft is just as good.

Anyone else using a Cherokee steering shaft? Any pictures of one installed on a c10/k10?
