Hood to Cowl Seal Clips?
Hey Guys,
I ordered the Hood to Cowl seal for my 59 task force from Brothers Truck....no directions included. Did a search here and found a great picture of how it is to be mounted. Question: No thread I read mentions how the clips are attached through the rubber.....meaning, do I have to cut small slots in the rubber for the clip to go through and then mount to the truck? I didn't notice any pre-cut slots for the clips on the actual rubber piece. Thanks Tod |

Never mind guys.....my son told me to YouTube it. Sure enough, there is a video on how to do this. Thanks anyway!

Any chance you saved the link? I will need it at some point in the near future.

I looked at the video again on YouTube. If you type in Precision Weatherstrip Installation, you should find it. They have a series on door seals, window and cowl.

Re: Hood to Cowl Seal Clips?
the clips are supper cheap and snap off, i recommend gluing the rubber on
those of you in the bodywork stage, i would weld the holes closed i ended up breaking most of the clips and have mine glued down
