Best aftermarket parts site?
I was originally planning on ordering odds and ends such as interior trim, sport mirrors, weather stripping, rear stepside bumper, etc... From lmc trucks however I see that they are getting bad reviews all over this site. Can anyone suggest a similar supplier that is reliable and sells good quality parts? If you can elaborate on a particular experience/overall customer service that would be helpful. This is my first c10 build and I would rather buy everything once if I can.

Re: Best aftermarket parts site?
Weatherstripping - people like Precision brand.
Interior trim - LMC, Brothers, and Classic Parts are the three I have used. LMC is the worst, Classic is OK, Brothers is the best but most expensive. Always check Ebay and Amazon. Outside of new OEM for $450 - dash pads are all nowhere as good as OEM, no matter where you buy it. Interior parts are always a gamble, so check the return policy prior to purchase. Rear bumper and sport mirrors - I have no clue. I would check Ebay and Amazon. If you can get the GM part numbers on the parts you want that is the best way to research them. |
