dawg cooling off, this is where we get off the powerline rd & back on a normal gravel rd. John george lake is up a 20 mile valley that climbs to 'bout 11 or 12 thou feet. there is 6 or 7 lakes all connected by Kwoiek creek that are fed by Stukolait lake near the top of the valley. it's a spectacular place in the summer

i pretty much knew that at that elevation, there was going to be snow. looking at the mountains & how mild this winter has been, i was hoping to get up to a mile or so from John George & hike the rest. was not happening, hit snow at the 8 mile mark

run into a couple more does. also came across 2 bucks within 30 seconds of each other, but they did not hang around long enough to get a pic, guess the girls like the attention

Love your stuff diesel! As always thank you for posting. I love my truck and lost my big boy of 12 years a couple back . Love to see you and diesel loving life.

was riding up at Neskawatch creek area today, looking at old dog laying on his bed right now, he's all sore & stiff & old, not a young'un anymore...but he still loves going out ![]() it's in the Slesse area, between Mt Rexford & McDonald peak. two seconds out of the truck & dawg has hit the water... |
