These are EFI/blown engines that they kept a retro look on. Someone should do up an LS like these. I think it's a cool look, but could it be applied to an LS with coil packs and so on? Hard to say.

In Soviet Union, forums respect rotation bits on photos.

Gosh I love that blower motor with the generator on it!

Isn't new truck engines still Vortec engines and not LS engines?

No argument taken, all good points.
I fabbed my motor mounts using old Ford flathead pucks. I'm not sure if they are compatible with the LS offset brackets. Maybe they would work.
I don't know how the LS radiators are laid out per inlet and outlet locations. I could just cap and relocate the spigots to utilize mine. It is aluminum.
My fuel tank is one of the typical rear frame mounted aluminum ones. It has no provision for an intank fuel pump. I'll just sell that one and get the correct one. There's no way I'm welding on a used fuel tank!

They'd look good in a minitruck or a slammed modern unit, and they'd run well, but I assure you that because of the way my truck is restored (not the level, but the way, all stock) it'd be a big letdown for folks when I opened the hood. I love the 376 unit.

Now if everything about the rest of the truck screamed "modern", then they'd be expecting it. But nothing really does. I'll be showing it with hubcaps, after all.

Well the first one is in the holly c10, and at a glance really dose not look all that different than yor pic with the 402. The point is there are ways around the plastic and wires if you want the old school look. Again my engine in my aviator may be a disappointment for some or an oh heck yea for others. Either way I don't care. I like how it runs and performs ! That's why I chose to just cover the plastic intake cause the prettier ones don't flow as good unless you spend serious coin . Either way your truck is cool bud! They all are on this site. Heck I even like the ones with rust holes in the floor you can stick your foot through. That with a high hp engine and good suspension setup is a hole other thrill. IE the farm truck..... I even have seen pics of them rat rodded and made into roadsters. You really can't go wrong with this body style!
