Power stering pump and stering box
Hi folks: back home the stering box drip the oil and also the power stering pump is burned out.
I saw the replacements parts at CPP cataloge 1969-76, 2WD truck, 16:1 ratio 1969-76, 2WD truck, 14:1 ratio 1969-90, 500 Series™, 2WD truck How can I find the ratio or which is the right option. Thank you |

I would go with the faster ratio box, if you're staying with power steering.

I believe the 1973 year trucks on have the fast ratio turn to turn I don't remember the exact number of turns, think it was 4 turns lock to lock.

Posted via Mobile Device Thank you Ben, I'm rebuilding the same because nobody handles at San Diego, this one is 41/2 turns but in the future I'll look one more fast. Also I don't have time to go LA
