69 C20 Utility
Was at the local car show and mentioned I was looking for a 396 engine. A guy said he had one but it was in a truck. Long story short-wound up buying the whole truck....It's so nice I hate to pull the 396. Might just sit on it awhile while I figure out what to do with it. It's a former search and rescue vehicle. The 396 was rebuilt 25K miles ago according to the log book. It's rust free, dent free, and an AC truck. Runs but needs a trans rebuild. Couldn't pass it up-the price was very right.

Re: 69 C20 Utility
Fairly fresh 396, rust free? If it's equipped anything like you'd want I'd find a fleetside bed and drive it.
