is my 63' column unusable??

So after a long time of a sloppy and un centered steering wheel... After pulling it off and started taking out the busted upper bearing, worn out turn signal switch and the housing... Came across this,,, looks like after all the years of the worn out upper bearing and driving, the column teeth or whatever these are called had broken off where it would connect to the turn signal housing.... Now what? I don't think is a way to fix this without having to replace the whole column

Unless you have some superior fabrication skills with a Mig and Dremel tools I think Humpty is done for. Maybe someone will send you one they have replaced or you will add a newer type. Is it a plain column without any shift linkage or 3 on the tree or auto?

Welding is the next skill to learn on my list.... Yeah it seems so, all the 60-66 columns are interchangeable when it comes to mounting?

It's a 3 on the tree column.
