87 Suburban V10 Random Bang/ClunkFrom Back

I just got the truck today and haven't been able to drive it much. While driving today I heard and felt a big bang sound that felt like it was coming from the rear end somewhere. It seems totally random and I can't duplicate it. It will do it 5 or 6 times in a row and then stop. I drove it for maybe 30 minutes today and it happened three times. Once while turning right, once while turning left, and once while going straight, all on flat pavement.

Tomorrow I'll be checking the suspension and u joints, not sure what else to check.
