Hello from Norway!
Been lurking around this forum for quite some time.
Finally picked up my C-10 yesterday and thought I'd show it off. It's a '71 Cheyenne Super with an original BB 402. California black plate truck imported to Norway in the fall of 2014. I'm already in love. Here are some pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Per-Erik Fredrikstad, Norway |

Re: Hello from Norway!
Thanx guys, I really appreciate your comments. This seems like a friendly forum to a newbie.
@hdff: If it's a Super or not, I don't know, I have to trust the PO. He claimed it to be a Super, and imported it as one, but of course there's no SPID inside the glovebox door. Anyway else I can identify it? I love it even if it turns out to be no Super. ![]() Here are som pics of the interior and engine. The door cards and seat are obviously not sporting the original upholstery, not even sure if it's the correct seat, but i plan to address that. There's also a set of Mickey Thompson Valve Covers that's not correct as well, I think they're kinda cool so I might keep those. ![]() ![]() ![]() Per-Erik Fredrikstad, Norway

Re: Hello from Norway!
Nice ride!! Looks like a great example of the genre'. And just so you know, it's OK to love your truck but no casual "Fun" I hear the Scandinavians are fond of that.

White wall tires? HAS ANYONE HUGGED YOU TODAY?
![]() I dad loves white walls so I grew up with my truck wearing them. Your truck is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for posting pics for us. It's always a pleasure to meet a fellow enthusiast from so far away. ![]() |

Re: Hello from Norway!
Even if it has the extra mods and improvements that is still one gorgeous truck.
Would be interested to know if you guys have to burn the e-10 ethanol gas over there. Its been a bain since the government mandate here. Someone here may know whether the nameplate on the glove box would be indicative of a true Super truck. |

![]() Gotta sport white walls, they look really good on these trucks. Glad to have this forum available. Quote:
No need to run ethanol over here, unless you want to save some money. I run premium 98 octane in my truck. Quote:
I've ridden this truck all year since I bought it. I live in the south eastern Norway so we don't have that much snow, thankfully. ![]() ![]() I've been doing some slight alterations on my truck over the last year, not much so far, but there's more to come this spring. I painted the headlight surrounds black. I think it looks better than the all aluminum finish. ![]() I painted the steelies red to make them pop more, and I think it suits the truck. ![]() ![]() Since this last picture was taken I had a mishap with the paint on the bed, due to a lousy painters prep job. What to do with that until I get a chance to re-spray? Emphasize it with some free hand lettering. ![]() ![]() Per-Erik Fredrikstad, Norway

Sweet truck!
Off topic here: Are you familiar with the troll? Concrete natural gas rig. Built in a fjord and floated out into the north sea and planted by the great norwegians(about 1995). I've always been into that kind of stuff
