AD pickup Interior
What is the best material to use to form behind the seat where the gas tank was? I see some good pictures of the finished project but I need some help getting started. Bending the radius and how to finish off the top are my biggest concerns.

Re: AD pickup Interior
ABS plastic sheet, It bends easily and does crack while working it like acrylic does. A little heat on it and it bends nicely. It also hold the fabric well when you cover it.
Get the 0.110 thickness. Its about $25 for a 32 x 48 sheet. If you want a kit call Roddoors.com talk to Blaine. They have a headliner for about $229 that fits with minimal trimming, it can be left black or painted or covered. |

Re: AD pickup Interior
That panel in my 53 was done with waterproof panelboard (sometimes called chipboard, I think?), which is another traditional material to use for these kinds of interiors. I'm told it can be sewn onto, which is a benefit. Something like this: https://actionup.com/shop/panel-boards/
sorry for poor quality pic - tough spot to photograph
