MrTurner1's project sound clip
Hope the link works. This was an awesome experience for a first timer, and a lot of you guys helped a great deal. Thanks guys for all the help. It's far from done but it's finally tuned and dialed in under the hood. I'll get some more videos soon, we literally just got wifi at the new place so I wanted to get this up for listening enjoyment

Re: MrTurner1's project sound clip
oh, it was the bed, I thought it was the license plate... at least you know what to tighten down before you put the 12" woofers in!
it sounds great, I especially like that deep sub-bass as you enter the cab.

Re: MrTurner1's project sound clip
At a certain rpm, like 850 or so, it vibrates EVERYTHING lol might actually get tailpipes soon and see if that helps a little

Re: MrTurner1's project sound clip
I have bluetooth setup in my truck to play from my phone or the computer here in my garage so your clip worked out well. My nephews were here and keep asking when I'm going to start my truck up, so finally I said, you want to know what it will sound like?? hehe so I blasted your clip through my sound system!

Re: MrTurner1's project sound clip
Who needs tunes when that engine sounds like that!!! Sounds great!!! Good job working through all your problems. It was well worth it.
Not to hijack, but in one of your other threads you spoke of led dash light bulbs. I have done this and love them. Here's the thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=680335

Re: MrTurner1's project sound clip
That sounds awesome! Can you provide details about your exhaust system? Are the mufflers Flowmaster 40's?
Thanks, |

Re: MrTurner1's project sound clip
Yep drilled two holes and screwed it right in. I thought it might be too big, but after it was mounted it looked great. The huge windshield makes it look smaller lol

Re: MrTurner1's project sound clip
Long tube 1 5/8 primaries and Flowmasters 40 series, dumped right after the axle. It's 2 1/4 inch pipe right now though. I haven't swapped the pipes yet but it's going to be 2 1/2 with an X pipe soon
