87 Silverado gauges, cluster, circuit card, and like new Tach/fuel combo

Doing an ls swap and going with Dakota digital gauges. No need for my originals. All gauges worked perfect, and the Tach/fuel combo is almost brand new. Bought it from the guys who was making them for Gm sports salvage. Can't remember his name but a lot of people on these boards have used this gauge. Gauge cluster was modified to fit the Tach. Bottom warning lights housings have to be removed from where the big fuel gauge was. Cluster is really nice I painted it white which really helped with the light output. The far left tab is still there but the bottom piece cracked off. Will post pictures. Looking to get $250 for everything.

Didn't receive a pm. What wiring are you talking about? The tach takes a feed from the ignition coil. I can cut off the connector for the clock. Everything else is runs through the stock harness.

I thought the tach wiring and a few plugs in it maybe a resistor.

No resistor. It was just a single wire run to the tach feed off of the ignition coil.

Are you willing to separate? Just interested in the clock.

Want to keep it all together for now. Wouldn't even know how much it would be worth honestly.

Does this work on tbi trucks or only carbs? Thought I had heard no tachs for tbi?

If it fits tbi I'll take it

DO you currently have a mechanical speedo? If yes then this should work for you. If yours requires an electric speedo, then that part will not be right for your application.

I did the research on this topic, as I have TBI on my 89, and I was considering this unit. I have not made binding arrangements with the OP so good luck as it is a nice piece.

Yep, works great for a tbi. My 87 is a tbi truck. Worked flawlessly. The speedo gauge is a mechanical gauge.

The tach hookup was super easy. One wire connection to the ignition coil.
