WTB NOS Side Reflectors

Looking to purchase NOS Side Reflectors. They are the yellow and red reflectors found on sides of fenders and bed. These are true reflectors they do not have the sockets built in for bulbs. Thank You

Re: WTB NOS Side Reflectors

Just exactly what are you looking for? Without bulbs built in? Starting in 1968 all cars/trucks manufactured in the U.S. had to have lighted side lights, yellow for the front red in the rear. This was federally mandated. Safety regulations were kicking in a lot by this time. So reflectors without sockets built in, I don't think you are going to find any NOS or used, unless it's aftermarket, and not intended for direct replacement.

Re: WTB NOS Side Reflectors

I'm looking for the ones without the bulb socket. I have a 1969 Chevy Blazer that is almost done being restored and would like to replace the originals. They do not have the sockets in them. Within the last year I have seen them once for bid on EBAY. I was hoping to find a member on the site that might have them.

Re: WTB NOS Side Reflectors

Lighted side markers weren't required until 1969, so any trucks built before Jan. 1st 1969 would've come with just reflectors for the side markers.

I believe this is correct. ^^

I had a couple of NOS ones I sold awhile back, but can't remember who got them. I even rat-holed a set of used deluxe side markers without holes for bulbs. (not for sale)

I can probably come up with a used set if needed.

Re: WTB NOS Side Reflectors

Pic just showing bronze 72 super what they look like.
This is a set I got for my 68 C/10

jaybirdk5 just keep looking,
I once had a full set of 4 but had no use for them so I sold them when I had my 71 burb.
Then later I got my 68 and and had to find a full set again.

Re: WTB NOS Side Reflectors

I stand corrected!! I was basing my information on passenger cars, oh well, learn something new everyday! I'll be looking out for these, spring swap meet in Portland Oregon in 3 weeks, you never know what a person might find. Thanks, for the information. Mike.
