Mustang R & P??

I know some of the members have used the Mustang/Thunderbird power rack & pinion when they have bagged the front end and recessed the crossmember, but has anyone done it just to get rid of the old tie rods, etc? If so, how did it work out? I'd like to get rid of some of that garbage under there.

I did not install a R&P with the stock frontend but rather installing a whole different IFS, one little difference between the Mustang Rack and the TBird rack is that with the GM power steering pumps with the M2 rack is that yuo have to also install some type of restrictor because their is to much pressure with the GM PS pump. The Tbird rack 88-91 works fine with with the GM PS pump.
