I have a dry erase board out in the shop. I just make small punch lists on it as I go... Depending on what is next in line to be worked on.

I don't bother listing something like tail lights on the board, when my cab still needs floors, corners, rockers, etc and isn't even sitting on the frame yet.

I also don't bother adding things like floor, rockers, etc, to the list either, because they are so obvious. I make lists for more menial tasks like, filling unwanted firewall holes, or maybe tightening something up that I couldn't do at a certain time.

My parts list is always being updated as I start to work on different areas of the truck though
