1981 2wd blazer body swap question

I have a 1981 blazer frame it was my old orange one body rotted off and I scraped it but saved the frame I found a clean 1987 blazer will the body swap without any problems?

Yep. Direct bolt on. If you want to keep the 87's fuel injection I would swap the tank and fuel lines.

Or you could jest sell me the 2wd chassis and keep the 87 4x4.

I don't know if anyone's told you, but the last one you built pops up on craigslist every six or eight months. Last time I saw it for sale the coys were gone and it was on rallys.

Really???? I haven't seen it. If you happen to see it again send me a link. Curious to see what's been done to it. I've been looking for a 2wd chassis to swap the '87 I have now. May just go ahead and swap the 2wd components to this chassis.

Just checking I thought they were the same but my friend was telling me the changed the floor and I don't have the body from the 1981 anymore to compare to the 1987 id post pic but can't figure that out on my phone lol

The floor and chassis change happened between 77 and 78, so you are good with the 81 to 87.

Well u picked up the clean body 1987 blazer so once it get warm again in ny ill be starting this project!! My phone will not let me post pics or id be showing it off lol

Thanks for posting them for me! Blazer was taken apart in 1999 and was in the barn all dry and has alot of gm nos stuff real happy for the price of $1400 so a great start to rebuilding my old 2wd blazer
