Well, that's one way to do it...
I needed to get to those damn rivets to replace the shock mounts with my ECE stuff. Fuel tank was in the way. New dual exhaust in the way...
What to do... what to do... Don't have torches... Bed wood is almost 20 years old and rotten... I don't really use the bed... so... 15 minutes later, rivets gone Sorry for the really crappy pics, sometimes my phone takes really good ones, and sometimes they look like below, but I can never tell the difference until I download them and see them "big."

Nice I'll be doing this soon but without the luxury of bed wood to remove. Looks like that helped quite a bit

The bed is only held on with a few bolts, its not to hard to un bolt and lift up with a friend, a jack, or an engine hoist... block it up and go to work.

in the airline industry where we repair 100 million dollar aircraft. we drill out the center of the rivet and then incert a flatfacedpunch of the same diameter and gently pry it side ways. thats how we do it on the bigg bucks jet liner. sometimes hundreds of rivets
