72 LWB or SWB
Fellow C10er's
Currently bringing another 72 LWB back to life, finally got to the bed and looks as if mr. sandblaster found LOT more rust than i had previous counted on! too many holes to fix with patch panel(s) My dilemma: $1000 for new LWB floor OR cut 20" out frame and make it SWB? It will cost another $1000 for SWB bedsides. My question is it worth the investment? How much more is SWB worth over a LWB? RandyV |

Re: 72 LWB or SWB
So many variables but it will always be a cut-down and not an original so that should affect value if going original...

Re: 72 LWB or SWB
A wood floor conversion might be worth looking into. The factory painted southern pine and strips is a very functional bed.
