'76 Rocker rust Question
Got some rocker rust on my girl's '76. how bad do you guys think it is underneath? I havent gotten the time to lift the floor mat up but the floor seems very sturdy when stepping on it. Just surface rust? Also what would the cost be to replace it? Living in the northwest. Sorry for bad pic, but its dark. Thanks

Try poking at it with something sharp like an ice pick see how strong it feels. Crawl under it and take a look at the floor boards from the outside. My 74 rubber mats Had some rust under it and i live in san diego. I was lucky an only had to wire brush it and use some por 15 on it. Pull em up and see what you have under them.

Here's a reverse underside view of a sectioned 77 pickup rocker. The metal looks badly rusted, but it's just surface rust and the piece in the photo is solid.
