2006 4l65e with 13 pin connector (iss or not)

I recently picked up a 2006 LQ9 from a 2006 Escalade complete with harness and ECU. I'm confused about whether this truck would have had an input speed sensor (iss) or not. The harness only has 13 wires going to the trans plug, but nearly everything I read says 2006+ 4l65e's would have had one.

Can I trust the harness and build an older 13 pin 4l60e or 4l65e to run with this ECU? Can the iss be deleted from the tune if necessary? I can find lots of early 2000 cores, but finding a 2006-2008 iss trans is proving difficult or expensive. The trans will need to be torn down for the AA np205 output shaft; so I figure I might as well have whatever I get rebuilt.

A 2006 Escalade would NOT have an ISS sensor, The only vehicles to receive a 4L60E/4L65E with a ISS for 2006 was the GMT360 platform. I have never seen a GMT800 Platform truck have a ISS sensor Or any Gen III LS powered vehicle for that matter.

Thanks clinebarger! Seems to be a lot of confusion regarding when and on what platforms the input speed sensor was added to the 4l6xe trannies. I knew someone here would be able to clear that up.
