Got me a C30

Hi
My name is Jon and I do love me some old Chevys, here is my 74 C30 I found on my local CL. The flat bed was added by some previous owner and they did a nice job. 454 camper originally, most everything works just most is original so tired.

The other truck is my 65 I'll do another thread on it.
I been hanging around and sure like it here.
Thanks,
Jon

Talking Re: Got me a C30

Thanks, it is a nice old truck. I found a gal of water and a quart of oil behind the seat so I replaced the gasket on the thermostat and tightened the valve covers and a few other little things and it hasn't used any water or oil since.
She does like gas though but these cheap gas prices now have me driving around while they last.

That's just too cool looking with the stake boards.

I know that's what got me too. They lift out real easy and then it is a flat steel table to work on and weather doesn't bother it.

Re: Got me a C30

I used it for some hauling and I am sure it needs ball joints at least on the drivers side. This should be interesting as it'll be a first for me.
Next will be new door hinge pins on the drivers door as it drags terrible do I remove the door from the hinges or the door and hinges from the cab?
