I tell you I looked that truck over and it is sweet. Dean has really put a lot into it. I also saw the blue/white one and it is also very impressive. Randy, I let you drive mine. ha, ha.
Dean, I tuned up the 71's engine and it sounds good. I'll probably tighten up the headers so I can at least start it and hear while I swap parts.

1970 K25, 8' stepside bed 350/465/205 44 up front, 60 in the rear 4.10s rolling on 33" Dunlop MTs 1986 K5, 350/465/208 Dana 60/14 bolt from a cucv 36" Super Swampers TSL/SX 1983 K20 w/ CUCV axles, 350/700R4/208 sitting on 37" Goodyears 1986 M1031 6.2 diesel, TH400/NP205 locker in the rear and a LS in the front, all stock for now..... 1986 K30, 350/400/205 dana 60 and 14 bolt. I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm |

Jim - Glad to hear that engine sounds good. I thought it was a good engine. At least it is quieter than my green one with no exhaust...lol |

The first time I seen those wheels I fell in love with them. Funny enough they were on a 69 deep blue LB and I wasn't any older then 10.
BTW nice truck. I really like the colors

Here is what the truck looked like when I bought it. This is with the old body. It had a cam in it that sounded like John Force's funny car....lol. A house light switch turned the heater blower on. Lots of duck tape inside and shag carpet...lol I could go on.

Hey nice truck and especially the wheels. Do you have any more? The only thing I miss when I changed from 6 bolt wheels to 8 is my turbine wheels just like yours, they are just laying in the shed doing nothing. Where did you get yours from if you don't mind my asking.

86 k10 you could sell those turbines.... people would buy them, a lot of people liek them and they are pretty hard to find

Hey Dean how wide are your turbines, it's been so long since i've looked at mine but I'm thinking they are 15X10. I have a couple of pics of them somewhere, i'll see if I can find them and maybe for the right price we can find them a home.

I must be getting old...When I was a young pup I hated GREEN...Now in my old age I like what I see...As a matter of fact when I complete the "Circuit Rider" I will keep the original colors of two tone GREEN. That GREEN does look good!! GREAT JOB DEAN. Hopefilly when my truck grows up it will look something like yours except it will be a 2 wd and it a 70cst.

My turbines are 16.5" diameter. I'm thinking there are like 9 3/4" wide but I could be wrong on that one. I actually saw a 70 C20 for sale with these wheels on it for $300.00. I stopped and offered him $100 for the wheels and they were mine. Granted they were very rought when I got them. A little welding, a lot of blasting, new lug nuts and here I am. I agree on the hard to find part.
