Survivor CST up for grabs
Thought I'd share. Must be one of the last K5s assembled in 72. I wonder if production continued into July that year.

That's my truck's twin! Except it's like a "Prince and the Pauper" twin. It's obviously lived an easier life than my truck has.

Re: Survivor CST up for grabs
It would be worth more to me if they didn't fix it up. Passenger rocker looks sketchy, vin tag looks like its held on with chewing gum. Would have been nice to see it before it was touched up

Re: Survivor CST up for grabs
It's been touched up some but with regard to the VIN tag that's original putty from GM. One pic shows the OEM spare tire carrier bolts.

Re: Survivor CST up for grabs
Didn't see this thread. I had just posted the spid and some pics in the Spid thread.
Mirrors have been changed, wrong hubcaps to spid. Is the passenger side seat belt wrong. It has a long retractor like the driver's side. I had thought Blazers had the shorter retractor housing on the passenger side. Overall pretty nice. Interesting to see what it sells for.

Re: Survivor CST up for grabs
Nice looking truck but the rattle can rebuild is conerning. My 140K blazer still has the markings on the firewall and the completion date on the inner fender. Seems like there was a lot of history lost when they "touched it up". Also, there is something seriously wrong with the passenger side rocker.

Re: Survivor CST up for grabs
Nice truck.....yes the pass side rocker has been crushed and repaired, drivers side lower molding not lined up so something happened there that needs looked at...
The comment about top never been off could be true, I have a customer who is the original owner of a 72 and he took the top off once.......it leaked when he put back on so took back off put some sealer in the area and has never taken off again!

Re: Survivor CST up for grabs
It had a rusty tailgate , front passenger floor board and a funky passenger rocker... Truck sold for too much if you ask me.
