Snap-on, mac, craftsman, matco, and some other older brands of tools. Most of my stuff including my box is snap-on, I really like alot of mac tools as well. I think overall quality and the service from the company I'd pick snap-on as my favorite.

I cant really vote as mine are mixed with many different brands .I buy American made tools at garage and estate sales but have some cheap china tools as well .I can say none came from the dollar store .

I'm in the same boat as flashed, an assortment of new bought years ago when quality was good and a lot of used bought at garage sales, flea markets, swap meets and the like. I have a 40 yr. set of SK Wayne 1/4'' drive and 3/8'' drive sockets that are still going strong. Not sure if SK Wayne is still around, most likely been bought out for the name and sent overseas for the manufacturing.

I also do have some MAC, Bonney, Proto, Challenger, Craftsman, Snap-on, Stanley, Matco and a few others can't think of right now. Would much rather buy a used US made tool at a garage sale, flea market, swap meet than most of the cheap junk offered today.

I know them as S-K then S-K Wayne, I'm sure they have been bought out since then....But they used to be their own independent tool company.

I voted Snap-On because the majority of my hand tools are Snap-On, But I also have Blue-Point, S-K, Proto, Mac, Matco, Cornwell, Williams, Hazet, Knipex, Klien, Channel Lock, Vise Grip, OTC, Kent Moore, Lisle, Central, & K-D.

Snap-on, matco, Mac, sunex, cornwell, craftsman, bluepoint, gear wrench, and ingersol rand. Just a few I can think of in my toolbox...

Was 100% Snap On. There have many changes in that company. So I traded my box in and every Snap On tool I owned...Much happier now with Matco..and yes.my box and my cart...are full.just one junk drawer.

I like them all. Some work better in certain situations than others.

Snap on Mac and a few craftsman in my tool box at home and lost about 40 or 45 thousand in proto/flute/brundy and a few snap on for work on the job

SK was indeed bought up some years ago, but they continue to make tools and are fiercely vocal that every tool they sell is made in USA without exceptions.

Actually, since SnapOn, Mac, and Matco have begun to decline with more and more non USA products of late, there has been quite an upsurge in SK tools in recent years.

The internet has reinvented the tool game. A savvy person can now research before they buy and a lot of mysteries as to who makes what tool have been exposed. For instance, look at Wilde, Trusty Cook, and Mayhew as examples. They makes a lot of tools for the big names. You can go straight to the source now and buy a nice hammer for instance that says Trusty Cook on it rather than SnapOn and save oodles of money.

I have hodgepodge of tools. From Snap-On and Mac to HB. It depends on what the tool is for. Line wrench? Top of the line Mac or Snap-On. Regular wrench? Mostly Craftsman with a few Mac and Armstrong mixed. I've also learned to shop ebay for tools.

I bought a tool box full of assorted brands of screw drivers saturday for $8 ,all nice American made tools at a garage sale .

as far as hand tools go with very rare exceptions i have only bought snapon, mac and matco. in that order
however if you look in my box you will find western auto, harbor freight, and many other no name brands. if it's traded out it's not considered stealing i guess.

I have a lot of Craftsman but I mainly use Metrinch tools as their sockets and wrenches fit both metric and standard bolts,no more searching for metric or standard. Metrinch cuts down on how many tools you need as well. I also have some Harbor Freight stuff, I love the ratchet that turns into an extension handle, leverage when you need it

Ive got a mix of Craftsman and Mastercraft in mine. Would definitely like to start getting some Matco though.

mine's a mix good to junk. in my main box its mostly snap on, mac, matco and craftsman. in my utility truck its mostly craftsman and my trail bag is 90% harbor freight so when a tool is lost or loaned out on the trail and never returned its no big deal

All Proto wrenches that were already old [but not used up].
Sockets and extensions and ratchets are Craftsman when they used to make long lasting tools, my impacts are HF and have yet to fail me.
