I'll get techno kid to flip these pics over when he gets home from school. Why does this happen to the technology challenged?

Here ya go...
FYI the phone doesn't follow all the rules when saving the picture and the image ends up upside down. Move the picture to your computer and you can rotate it. Sometimes you can right click and select "rotate clockwise" twice, sometimes you can right click and "edit" then rotate it. It depends on the version of Windows you're running. |

Re: How to lower your truck for $36.00
Back in 1973 when I was building my 48 for the first time I answered and add in the paper for fenders, running boards and other bed parts for a 47/53 Chevy pickup.
The gent that had the parts told me that he had had an AD pickup with a stout V8 in it that he had sold to a local family for their teenage son. It wasn't long after the sale that they called raising hell that the truck broke. The kid had loaded the back end of the bed full of cement blocks and with his buddy filming it had tried to do a wheelie and in the process bent the frame. I got a whole load of parts for my 48 for pocket change (he liked my plans for my truck and sold them to me cheap) and met the first person I ever met who had a beer keg in a fridge in his garage.

Re: How to lower your truck for $36.00
How do you keep them in there upside down?
Seems like they would fall out. K

Re: How to lower your truck for $36.00
It's so funny because when I read the thread subject I thought "36 dollars in gravel?" and I wasn't far off.
You know at the GM Motorama's back in the fifties and sixties from what I understand they would put bags of sand in some of the cars on display to lower them a little. Brian
